A new partial master plan is proposed for the southern part of Marjamäki, which would enable the settlement of 3,180 new residents and 2,800 jobs in the area. A 70,000 euro security investment is proposed for Kulju school and the acquisition of outdoor gym equipment for the Lempoinen swimming facility area. Additionally, the municipality is considering joining a regional city bike service starting from 2028.

The project will employ 100 people immediately in the initial phase and up to 400 after the second phase. At the same time, the municipality will introduce micromobility permits for electric scooters from the beginning of 2026 and approves a two-year principal payment holiday for the swimming hall's investment loans.

After debate, the council also approved by a vote of 39-3 the Haurala zoning plan, which enables the construction of 54 single-family homes and brings 380 new residents to the area - however, the building guidelines were returned for further preparation. Significant changes also included administrative regulation updates, where the senior council's representation in committees will be examined in the spring.

The school has been found to have microbial damage in exterior wall structures and air leaks, which cause indoor air symptoms for students and staff. The renovation will begin in spring 2026 and be completed by the end of 2027. At the same time, the municipal executive board completed a water body monitoring program for the next ten years.
