The Health and Vitality Committee will address several significant proposals at its meeting on February 19, 2026. A 500,000 euro annual service purchase agreement for five years is proposed for Lempäälä swimming hall. Expanding early youth work for 10-13-year-olds would require additional funding of 95,000 euros and two new employees. Additionally, consideration is being given to relocating the community space to Lempäälä-talo instead of the current Hakkarin kartano.

Lempäälä's education and training committee will discuss several proposals concerning families' daily lives in February. Morning and afternoon activity fees are proposed to be increased by up to 37 euros per month starting from August. At the same time, a 500,000 euro annual service procurement contract for five years is proposed for the swimming hall. Additionally, the teaching hour framework is proposed to be reduced by 112 annual weekly hours, which would save 336,000 euros.

Rural services paid over 60 million euros in various subsidies to its customers last year.

Competition was fierce for association subsidies: 88,250 euros was approved out of 177,000 euros requested by sports clubs.
