Lempäälä's welfare and vitality committee will address in its meeting on March 19 an extensive welfare program for 2026-2029, which defines the municipality's measures to combat inequality, loneliness and insecurity. Additionally, a proposal is presented to convert the Halkola property into a youth facility, where various youth activities would be centralized from motor workshop to youth council meetings.

Lempäälä municipal board will address several significant proposals in its March meeting: acquisition of a 153,400 euro exhibition bus for the Housing Fair, sale of a 143,780 euro business plot to V&H Service Oy, and negotiation of an annual 15,319 euro land lease agreement for a waste station with Pirkanmaan Jätehuolto Oy. Additionally, a response is proposed to a council motion regarding early youth work, which would require an additional resource of 95,000 euros.

Lempäälä's Aleksanteri Aava statue gets a new home - the municipality's cultural symbol will be moved to the corner of Aavankatu and Puistokatu at the end of a residential apartment building. Meanwhile, the well-being of welfare and vitality services staff is flourishing - the response rate to the workplace well-being survey was as high as 85.2 percent. Rural services paid over 60 million euros in various subsidies to its customers last year.
