The Lempäälä community board will address several interesting proposals at its meeting on 5 May. Peab Industri Oy is proposed to receive an exemption for stone crushing operation hours until early June in the Aukeasuo area. Two siting permit applications are proposed to be rejected - on Rantoistentie due to noise and zoning issues, and on Aksuntie to secure planning reserve. The Nurmi school leasing building is proposed to be purchased for 135,360 euros.

Lempäälä's Hakkari school will receive a 7 million euro renovation due to indoor air problems. The school has been found to have microbial damage in exterior wall structures and air leaks, which cause indoor air symptoms for students and staff. The renovation will begin in spring 2026 and be completed by the end of 2027. At the same time, the municipal executive board completed a water body monitoring program for the next ten years.
