Service bus operating days to be restored to five days
Councilor Maikki Hämäläinen-Ylikahri's motion to restore service bus operating days back to five days per week will proceed to the community services department for preparation. The motion refers to the fact that service bus operating days have previously been reduced.
Broad support for expanding municipal flag-flying practices
A motion signed by as many as 20 councilors or deputy councilors from Lempäälä Left Alliance proposes that the municipality investigate the possibility of flag-flying on all recommended flag days. The motion will be directed to corporate shared services for preparation.
Massive support for youth employment
A motion prepared by Lempäälä Greens to promote youth employment has the support of a vast group - a total of 38 councilors or deputy councilors have signed the proposal for creating an action program. The motion will be transferred to the welfare and vitality services department for investigation.
Lempäälän Vuokrakodit Oy's loss of nearly 150,000 euros
The municipal board will provide guidance for the general meeting of the rental housing company fully owned by the municipality. The company made a loss of as much as 149,281.31 euros in 2025, which is proposed to be recorded as a reduction in equity. No dividend will be distributed.
LEKITEK Oy's profit transferred to retained earnings
Lempäälän Kiinteistöhuolto ja -tekniikka LEKITEK Oy's profit of 45,742.96 euros from 2025 is proposed to be transferred to retained earnings from previous financial periods without dividend distribution. The municipality owns 87.2 percent of the company.

The municipal board is processing a council initiative that proposes investigating the possibility of flag flying on all officially recommended flag days in Lempäälä municipality. The statement is based on the municipality's administrative regulations, according to which the service area manager can delegate their authority, and the community manager had further transferred this power to the planning manager. The matter concerns whether the plot division decision was made by the right person.
