Vice-Chairperson changes mid-term
The audit committee's Vice-Chairperson Anu Pellikan (SDP) has resigned from her position of trust. The council will elect a new member and vice-chairperson on February 18, after which the committee will note the changes for information.
Evaluation report continues to be prepared
The committee continues preparing the evaluation report. The report critically evaluates the municipality's operations and finances, and additional meetings may be needed in spring for its completion.
Municipal board situation overview
Municipal board Chairperson Riina Aspila will report on the municipality's current affairs from the board's perspective. The audit committee serves as the municipality's internal supervisor, so the hearing provides insight into which matters the board considers most important.
Members report from their monitoring areas
Committee members will report their findings from their respective monitoring responsibility areas, which may bring up concerns from various municipal sectors.
Agenda
The audit committee proposes continuing the preparation of the evaluation report. Once the report is completed, it will be submitted to the council for consideration as part of the municipality's monitoring and development.

The municipal council has elected a new member and vice-chairperson to the audit committee to replace Anu Pellikka (SDP), who has resigned from the position of trust. The audit committee proposes that it acknowledges the election made by the municipal council. The committee must have seven members including the chairperson, and according to the equality act, at least 40 percent of the members must be men and women.
Municipal Board Chairperson Riina Aspila presents to the audit committee an overview of the municipality's current affairs from the municipal board's perspective. The audit committee is proposed to note the overview for information. This concerns regular information exchange between the municipality's different governing bodies.
